Job summary

Nicholas and Company Inc. Foodservice is seeking a responsible Delivery Driver to distribute products promptly to our customers in the Salt Lake City area. You will represent our company professionally to increase profitability and customer satisfaction.

Schedule: Sunday night - Thursday night, 7:00 pm until finished. Pay: $30.00 per hour. Must hold a Class A CDL and meet DOT requirements. Competitive benefits available.

Qualifications

• At least 21 years of age.
• Class A CDL.
• One year of commercial driving experience.
• Current DOT medical card.

Responsibilities

• Operate delivery scanner at each stop.
• Collect, sign, and code invoices.
• Transport product on ramps, stairs, and/or docks.
• Place product in designated customer delivery area.
• Operate electronic log system to track stops and locations.
• Maintain sanitary conditions and meet hygiene requirements.
• Check invoices for credit terms and collect funds when needed.
• Turn in reconciliation sheet with funds and invoices daily.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections per DOT regulations.
• Deliver product safely within route schedule using hand cart or by hand.
• Notify supervisor for any delivery variance via driver log system.
• Obey traffic rules and report accidents or damages immediately.
• Demonstrate strong customer relations and problem-solving skills.
