Hammond Lumber Company is seeking a Full-Time CDL Delivery Driver for our Old Town, Maine location. The role includes loading/unloading with forklifts, delivering to customers in Class A/B trucks, and providing friendly service in a fast-paced yard environment.

The ideal candidate will have a valid Class A or B license, be able to handle heavy lifting, and meet USDOT testing requirements. Benefits are included with full-time employment.

Qualifications

• Forklift experience is a plus but not required.
• Experience in handling building materials is a plus.
• Spider truck or boom truck experience is a plus but not required.
• The preferred candidate will have a clean and valid Class A or B driver’s license.
• Final applicant must comply with USDOT testing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Operates forklift and other material handling equipment to pick, load, unload and store materials in the yard
• Performs customer deliveries utilizing Class B or Class A equipment
• Provides customer service
• Position requires heavy lifting
