Job summary

Hammond Lumber Company in Rockland, Maine, is looking for an experienced Full-Time Delivery Driver to support our yard and customer deliveries. You will operate Class A or B trucks, assist with material loading, and provide excellent service directly to customers in a busy residential and commercial setting.

The role requires ability to lift heavy materials and operate forklift where needed. Clean driving record and USDOT compliance are expected, with potential for growth within our locally

Qualifications

Forklift experience preferred but not required.
Experience handling building materials is a plus.
Class A or B driver’s license required.
USDOT testing compliance is required for final applicants.

Responsibilities

Operates forklift and other material handling equipment to pick, load, unload and store materials in the yard
Performs customer deliveries utilizing Class B or Class A equipment
Provides customer service
Position requires heavy lifting
