Job summary

Ferguson is seeking a CDL driver to support delivery operations in Texas. You will deliver materials to customers, perform pre-trip inspections, and assist with loading and unloading using pallet jacks and dollies.

A strong safety mindset and the ability to communicate clearly with customers are essential. The role requires meeting DOT standards, maintaining a valid medical card, and staying physically active throughout shifts that run Monday through Friday with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid CDL and meet DOT standards.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must maintain a valid DOT Medical card to meet driver requirements.
• Ability to lift items up to 50 lbs and handle loading/unloading.
• Background in warehouse operations, shipping, receiving, and delivery is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver materials to customers using pallet jack and dolly; ensure delivery tickets accompany shipments.
• Pick up customer returns and verify product matching for credits.
• Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections; fuel and report issues to supervisor.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures of the company.
