Job summary

Ferguson Enterprises, LLC is seeking a CDL driver in Waterloo, IA to deliver materials to customers and support warehouse operations. The role runs Monday–Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., with a base pay starting at $24.00 per hour and room to grow with experience.

Qualified candidates hold a valid CDL, are at least 21, meet DOT requirements, and can lift up to 50 lbs. Pre-employment drug/background screening applies.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid CDL.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Meet and maintain qualifications for CDL requirements.
• Follow all DOT standards and regulations.
• Must currently have, acquire, and/or maintain a valid DOT Medical card in order to meet driver requirements.
• Ability to lift items that weigh up to 50lbs.
• A background in warehouse operations and logistics is a plus.
• Strong communicator with a customer-focused approach.
• Able to navigate and operate basic technology, including iPads.

Responsibilities

• Deliver materials to the customer, using pallet jack and two-wheel dolly to load/unload and ensure delivery ticket with material.
• Pick up customer returns, validating product match for credit requests.
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections, fuel the truck, and report issues to supervisor.
• Follow and implement all company safety policies and procedures.
• Assist warehouse personnel with pulling and preparing orders for shipment, receiving, verifying, staging and stocking incoming material.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.
• Must adhere to all safety regulations, including PPE usage with a 400 lbs weight limit.
