Job summary

EquipmentShare is hiring a CDL Delivery Driver in Smyrna, TN. The role centers on safe, on-time transportation of equipment with real-time visibility through the company’s technology platform.

Schedule is Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM with overtime after 40 hours; on-call scheduling may apply for additional compensation. We offer a comprehensive benefits package and a people-first culture focused on growth and safety.

Qualifications

• Must hold a CDL (Class A) or chauffeur’s license appropriate for vehicle weight
• Must pass background and drug testing per regulations
• Must pass DOT physical for operation of trucks over 10k lbs
• Must be at least 21 years old to operate company vehicle

Responsibilities

• Operates vehicle according to state and federal transportation laws
• Transports loads safely and timely following route and safety regulations
• Maneuvers truck and trailer into loading/unloading areas and follows crew signals
• Assists with loading/unloading goods using specialized equipment when warranted
• Maintains invoices, Bills of Lading, and paperwork; delivers documentation on route completion
• Performs routine truck service checks and reports maintenance needs to Shipping Supervisor
• Arranges trailers in shipping yards for optimal loading patterns
• Performs other related duties as assigned
