Job summary

SRS Distribution Inc. is seeking a delivery driver to safely operate a commercial vehicle and deliver freight to commercial and residential jobsites in Upper Marlboro, MD. You will load/unload materials and provide world-class customer service while complying with DOT regulations.

The position requires a CDL (Class B minimum, Class A preferred), a clean MVR, and the ability to lift up to 100+ lbs. Competitive pay and benefits are offered based on location and experience.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) – minimum ClassB, ClassA strongly preferred.
• Clear three (3) year Motor Vehicle Report (MVR).
• Overall knowledge of Department of Transportation regulations.

Responsibilities

• Inspect truck/trailer for defects to ensure safe operation.
• Safely load building materials onto flatbed or boom truck and unload at job sites.
• Deliver materials to assigned areas as directed by the customer while prioritizing safety.
• Maintain records required for compliance with State and Federal regulations.
• Report all accidents involving the driver or company equipment.
• Lift heavy building materials up to 100+ lbs. for loading and unloading.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional attitude.
