Description

Start and end your day in Fargo with no scheduled weekends! Currently seeking individuals who may focus as Day Delivery drivers but be able to cover Evening Drop & Hook routes if needed, and vice versa.

• Experienced drivers start at $31.54/hr (with potential to reach this within 3 months)
• Work 4-5 days per week (weekday routes, 9-12 hours per day)
• Generally includes overtime pay
• Hours: Monday through Friday, early morning start; Sun-Thu for evening Shuttle Routes
• Eligible for insurance starting the first of the month after 60 days, with low rates for medical, dental, and vision insurance. Solid benefits package.

Fargo Route Driver Overview

Starts/ends daily in Fargo. Early morning start (3-4am, depending on route), ending early to mid-afternoon. Most drivers average 45-55 hours per week. Responsibilities include picking up packed trailers, following delivery routes, building loads at each stop, verifying deliveries, obtaining signatures, and maintaining customer relationships.

Fargo Shuttle Driver Overview

Pulls full trailers from Fargo warehouse to remote locations, moves gear to drop-off points, and returns empty trailers. Work nights (Sun-Thu), with start times ranging from 7-11pm.

Responsibilities

• Deliver merchandise safely and efficiently, including stairs and weather considerations
• Operate equipment like hand trucks, pallet jacks, scanners
• Provide excellent customer service and ensure product integrity
• Record deliveries accurately, obtain signatures
• Follow FMCSA guidelines, maintain logs, perform vehicle inspections
• Maintain legal weight limits and practice defensive driving

Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class-A License required
• High school diploma preferred
• At least 21 years old
• Foodservice delivery and driving experience preferred
• Ability to read/write/perform basic math, work independently
• Customer relationship skills, English proficiency, pass background/drug/physical tests

Physical Requirements

• Frequent standing, walking, sitting, lifting up to 50-65 lbs., occasional up to 100 lbs.
• Push/pull up to 200 lbs., maneuver gear controls
• Exposure to outdoors, hazards include moving vehicles, equipment, weather conditions
