Description

Start and end your day in Fargo with no scheduled weekends! We are currently looking for individuals who may focus as a Day Delivery driver but be able to cover for an Evening Drop & Hook driver if needed, and vice versa.

  • Experienced drivers start at $32.04/hr (if you don't start there, you should be able to reach this within 3 months!)

  • Work 4-5 days per week (weekday routes, average 9-12 hours per day)
  • Generally has overtime pay!
  • Hours: Monday through Friday, starting early morning; Sun-Thurs for the evening Shuttle Routes
  • Eligible for insurance the first of the month after 60 days! Extremely low rates for medical, dental, and vision insurance. Solid overall benefits package.
Fargo Route Driver Overview

Starts/ends daily in Fargo. The route begins early morning (around 3-4am, depending on assigned route) and ends early to mid-afternoon. The end time varies by day based on order volume. Most drivers average 45-55 hours per week. Responsibilities include picking up the packed trailer, following delivery routes, building loads at each stop, reading and scanning delivery tickets, working with customers on product placement, obtaining signatures, and developing customer relationships. For longer routes, we are moving towards scheduling 4 days per week, averaging about 45 hours, with occasional 5-day weeks as needed.

Shuttle Driver Overview

Pulls two full trailers from Fargo to remote locations, moves gear to drop off and pick up empty trailers, then returns to Fargo. This evening route (Sunday-Thursday nights) offers a drop and hook position with start times ranging from 7-11pm, providing weekends off.

Responsibilities
  • Accurately, safely, and efficiently deliver merchandise using hand-trucks, ramps, and/or lift gates to customers on a predetermined route, including stairs and all weather conditions.
  • Operate equipment safely, including hand trucks, pallet jacks, scanners, and printers.
  • Provide high-quality service and product integrity through safe, timely deliveries.
  • Deliver and stack merchandise at customer locations.
  • Record deliveries accurately, verifying items with customers and obtaining signatures.
  • Follow FMCSA guidelines to minimize crash, injury, and fatality risks.
  • Use onboard computer to record mileage, hours of service, and maintain driver logs per DOT regulations.
  • Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections and DVIRs.
  • Maintain legal weight limits and proper load distribution.
  • Practice defensive driving and proper body mechanics for safety.
Qualifications
  • Valid CDL Class-A License with a safe driving record required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • Two years of foodservice delivery and verifiable driving experience preferred.
  • Ability to read/write/record data and perform basic math.
  • Ability to work independently and build trusted customer relationships.
  • Proficiency in English for communication and safety regulations.
  • Ability to pass background check, drug screen, and physical abilities test.
Physical Requirements
  • Frequent standing, walking, sitting, lifting (up to 50 lbs., occasionally 65 lbs., rarely 100 lbs.), pushing/pulling (up to 175-200 lbs.), and maneuvering gear controls.
  • Exposure to outdoors during delivery (20%) and inside truck/cargo areas (80%).
  • Work involves hazards like moving vehicles, equipment, slippery surfaces, noise, fumes, and weather conditions.
