Position Overview

DSG is seeking a CDL Class A Delivery Driver in our Plymouth, MN location. This full-time, hourly position typically works between 5 am and 2 pm, Monday through Friday, with occasional variations based on business needs. The primary duty involves delivering products to customers and jobsites, including loading, unloading, securing, and transporting materials.

Qualifications

The CDL Delivery Driver must hold a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a current medical card.

A Typical Day

• Load the delivery truck safely, following company policies
• Coordinate with warehouse associates on loading procedures
• Inspect truck & trailer per company policy and DOT standards
• Report vehicle safety or maintenance issues immediately
• Communicate delivery schedules with customers
• Drive to customer locations within approximately 150 miles
• Unload materials at customer sites as instructed
• Comply with DOT/FMCSA and OSHA regulations, including training requirements
• Follow DSG's safety policies and vehicle safety programs
• Maintain a good driving record
• Assist with warehouse operations when not on delivery, including:

1. Pulling products accurately and timely
2. Packing, labeling, and organizing orders
3. Operating forklifts
4. Using computers and RF scanners for inventory checks

Perform other duties as assigned

• Valid Class A CDL with current medical card
• 1-3 years of relevant experience with basic product and warehouse knowledge

• Physical ability to lift/move 70-325 lbs with assistance or equipment
