Job summary

ABC Supply is seeking a licensed CDL Driver for local deliveries, with the goal of returning home each night. The role emphasizes safety, accurate documentation, and customer service as you move exterior and interior building products from the branch to customers.

The position requires a valid CDL Class B, ability to lift heavy bundles, and willingness to undergo pre-employment and random drug testing. Training is provided where NCCCO is desired but not mandatory.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL – Class B
• Able to lift 75-100 pounds repeatedly
• Pre-employment drug screen and random drug tests are required
• NCCCO is preferred, but not required (willingness to obtain when hired, we will train)
• Knuckle boom and/or flatbed truck experience is preferred

Responsibilities

• Deliver materials to customers safely and on schedule per branch directives
• Document every delivery by taking and uploading photos with our camera phone system
• Complete a thorough load check on the truck before leaving the branch, ensuring materials are secured and regulations are followed
• Coordinate with the Delivery Material Handler to determine unloading locations and perform unloading
• Complete and file logs and government paperwork accurately and timely
• Provide customers with invoices and collect payment on COD deliveries
• Possibly assist with warehouse loading/unloading as assigned
