Job summary

Hammond Lumber Company seeks a Full-Time CDL Delivery Driver for its Waterville, Maine location. You will operate forklift and other material handling equipment to pick, load, unload and store materials in the yard, and perform customer deliveries using Class A or Class B equipment while providing excellent customer service.

The role requires a clean and valid Class A or B driver's license, compliance with USDOT testing, and experience handling building materials; forklift experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A or B CDL is required or preferred.
• Forklift experience is a plus.
• Experience handling building materials is beneficial.
• Must comply with USDOT testing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift and other material handling equipment to load, unload, and store materials in the yard.
• Perform customer deliveries using Class A or Class B equipment.
• Provide customer service during deliveries and interactions.
• Meet safety and weight restrictions; heavy lifting may be required.

Requirements

• Forklift experience a plus, but not a requirement
• Experience in handling building materials is a plus
• Spider truck or boom truck experience a plus, but not a requirement
• The preferred candidate will have a clean and valid Class A or B driver's license
