Job summary

Hammond Lumber Company in Fairfield, Maine, is hiring a Full-Time CDL Delivery Driver to operate Class A/B vehicles and load/unload building materials.

You will handle materials, assist customers, and comply with USDOT testing requirements. Forklift experience is a plus; clean license required; strong safety and customer service focus essential.

Qualifications

• Forklift experience preferred but not required.
• Experience handling building materials is a plus.
• Clean and valid Class A or B driver’s license required.
• Must comply with USDOT testing requirements.
• Spider/boom truck experience is a plus but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift and other material handling equipment to pick, load, unload and store materials in the yard.
• Perform customer deliveries utilizing Class B or Class A equipment.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Position requires heavy lifting.
