Job summary

Hammond Lumber Company in Machias, Maine is seeking a Full-Time Delivery Driver to support our local operations. You will operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to prepare orders, and perform customer deliveries using Class A/B trucks, while providing excellent customer service and handling heavy loads.

Ideal candidates will have a valid Class A or B license, be able to meet USDOT requirements, and enjoy working in a team focused on safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Forklift experience is a plus but not required.
• Experience handling building materials is a plus.
• Spider truck or boom truck experience is a plus but not required.
• Clean and valid Class A or B driver’s license is preferred.
• Must comply with USDOT testing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Operates forklift and other material handling equipment to pick, load, unload and store materials in the yard.
