• 1 year of recent Delivery Driver and CDL experience required.

Job description

Overview

Imperial Dade, a leading North American distributor, has a CDL Delivery Driver position available in Charleston, SC! Join a strong and continuously evolving transportation group, helping to continue to grow our business. The CDL Delivery Driver makes daily stops on a local route while safely operating a box truck. The driver will utilize a pallet jack, dolly, and lift gate to offload and transport the merchandise to the customers.

The schedule for this position is Tuesday through Friday from 4:30 am until 3:00 pm.

Responsibilities

You will:

• Safely operate a 26' box truck or 53' trailer with air brakes
• Load and unload cargo
• Properly track and document activity log
• Report any issues or incidents to dispatch
• Inspect the truck before and after each trip

Qualifications

You have:

• A valid commercial driver’s license
• Must have a valid DOT medical card or be able to pass a DOT medical exam
• Good driving record
• Must pass a pre-employment drug test
• 1 year of lift gate experience
• 1 year of recent Delivery Driver experience
• 1 year of recent CDL experience
• Electric Pallet Jack experience is a plus
• Ability to handle physical workload (lift 50+ pounds comfortably and unassisted)
• Strong work ethic
