Job description

Factory Motor Parts is looking for a Delivery Driver with a Class B or better Commercial Driver's License (CDL) to deliver auto parts to regional customers and warehouses.

The CDL Delivery Driver is responsible for the timely, safe, and accurate delivery of automotive parts to customers using a company-provided vehicle without incident.

Position responsibilities include:

1. Driving courteously and safely using defensive driving skills.
2. Professional communication with customers at their site, representing Factory Motor Parts.
3. Keeping the vehicle clean and in good working order.
4. Accurately handling customer returns.
5. Driving safely in various road conditions and handling hazardous materials.
6. Participating in yearly physical inventories.
7. Performing other tasks as requested by management.

This position requires:

1. Must be 21 or older.
2. High School Diploma or GED.
3. Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class B or better.
4. Hazmat Endorsement preferred.
5. Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
6. Ability to interact with management and customers at various levels.
7. Ability to lift 75-100 pounds.
8. Ability to read maps or understand geographic areas.

Drug screening and background checks are required as a condition of employment.
