Job summary

Kilgore Industries is seeking a CDL Delivery Driver to join our Houston, TX team. This role involves safely securing loads, transporting materials to job sites across Texas, and ensuring on-time deliveries under DOT guidelines.

The candidate should possess a valid Class A license, with at least one year of relevant experience, and be capable of passing background checks and drug testing. Forklift experience is a plus and responsibilities include loading, unloading, and maintaining driver logs.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A Driver’s License is required.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant driving experience.
• Forklift operation experience is a plus.
• Ability to pass company driving test, background checks and random drug tests.

Responsibilities

• Secure tools/material according to DOT regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Perform pre- and post-trip responsibilities in accordance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Assist with loading and unloading materials.
• Deliver required material to job sites, on time as assigned by dispatcher.
• Pick up orders, materials, tools from vendors and jobsites.
• Maintain ongoing communication with dispatcher for updates and changes.
• Update and maintain all data in required systems.
• Assist other drivers and warehouse team with workload as needed.

Kilgore Industries, one of the largest Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing subcontractors in the state of Texas is growing, and key to this growth is having the best team in the industry! We are looking for an experienced CDL Licensed Driver who is looking to grow with the industry leader. The CDL Driver is responsible for ensuring every load is safely secured, and expeditiously transported via combined truck and trailer to it required location within Texas, on time and without incident. .

PRIMARY DUTIES:

• Secure tools/material according to DOT regulations, policies, and procedures

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
