Bellingham Millwork Supply (BMS) is seeking a CDL Delivery Driver to safely and efficiently deliver to job sites in Bellingham and surrounding areas. The role collaborates with the yard crew to ensure proper loading and timely deliveries.

The ideal candidate holds a CDL with a clean driving record, can operate multiple vehicle types, and provides excellent customer service, including obtaining signatures and addressing concerns. Overtime and weekend off benefits apply.

Qualifications

• CDL-A/B required with a clean driving record.
• Ability to operate multiple delivery vehicles.
• Physical ability to load/unload 40–60 lbs.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Proficient with smartphones and maps.
• Able to work independently and manage time effectively.

Responsibilities

• Safe deliveries to job sites using CDL vehicles, adhering to safety rules and schedules.
• Coordinate loading with yard crew and managers for each delivery.
• Interact with customers professionally and obtain signatures; handle complaints as needed.
• Work independently with early morning starts on an eight-hour shift; overtime may be available.
• Assist in the yard during slower periods.
• Operate all BMS equipment: CDL and non-CDL trucks, forklifts, and saws.
• Unload or coordinate unloading at the destination.
• Plan routes to deliver to businesses or residences.
• Follow safety regulations at all times.

Job Description: CDL Delivery Driver

Position Overview:The Delivery Driver is responsible for making safe, accurate, and timely deliveries to job sites within Bellingham and the surrounding areas using a variety of CDL required delivery vehicles. This role involves close collaboration with the yard crew and yard managers to ensure that products are properly loaded for each delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safe Deliveries:Operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to job sites, ensuring safety and accuracy. Obey all traffic laws and make deliveries in a safe and on-time manner.
• Loading Coordination:Work with yard crew and managers to load products as needed for each delivery.
• Customer Interaction:Maintain a friendly and positive demeanor when interacting with customers, representing the company professionally, and providing excellent customer service, including obtaining signatures and handling complaints.
• Solitary Work:Perform duties independently, starting early in the morning and working an eight-hour shift.
• Overtime Opportunities:Potential for overtime due to factors such as traffic, weather, and job site accessibility.
• Site Assistance:During slower periods, assist in the yard at BMS.
• Ability to operate all BMS equipment including CDLvehicles and non-CDL Trucks, Forklifts, and Saws.
• Unloading: You will be responsible for unloading or coordinating the unloading of items at the assigned destination.
• Transporting Goods: Drive along optimal routes to deliver items to businesses and/or residences.
• Following Safety Regulations: Adherence to traffic laws and safety protocol is required.

• Physical ability to load and unload products (40-60 lbs. at times)
• Early morning starts with full eight-hour shifts.
• Primarily solitary work with occasional yard assistance during slow seasons.
• Potential for overtime based on delivery conditions.

Compensation and benefits:

• Compensation: $29 - $32/hr
