Job summary

Hammond Lumber Company in Bar Harbor, Maine is seeking a Full Time CDL Delivery Driver to join our local team. This role delivers building materials to job sites and customers, operates Class A/B equipment when required, and ensures accurate loading and safe handling of products.

The ideal candidate holds a clean Class A or B license, is able to lift heavy loads, and provides friendly, professional customer service. USDOT requirements compliance is required.

Qualifications

• Clean and valid Class A or B license required or preferred.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely are essential.
• Forklift experience is a plus but not required.
• Experience handling building materials is advantageous.
• Compliance with USDOT testing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Operates forklift and other material handling equipment as needed.
• Performs customer deliveries using Class A or Class B equipment.
• Provides friendly, professional customer service.
• Manages loading/unloading and safe storage of materials; heavy lifting expected.

Job Responsibilities

• Operates forklift and other material handling equipment to pick, load, unload and store materials in the yard
• Performs customer deliveries utilizing Class B or Class A equipment
• Provides customer service
• Position requires heavy lifting
