Job summary

Wells Concrete is seeking a safety-focused Tuckerbilt Driver to operate a specialized concrete mixer truck and deliver wet concrete to construction sites. You will load, transport, and place concrete, perform pre-trip inspections, and coordinate with dispatch to meet delivery schedules.

This role requires reliability, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in varying weather and site conditions.

Qualifications

• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with required endorsements.
• Experience operating concrete mixer trucks or similar equipment.
• Basic mechanical knowledge for routine inspections and minor issues.
• Ability to work in physically demanding conditions and climb equipment safely.
• Good communication skills for coordination with dispatch and customers.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate Tuckerbilt mixer truck to deliver concrete to job sites
• Load, transport, and unload concrete using truck controls and equipment
• Position truck accurately for safe and efficient concrete placement
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report maintenance issues
• Follow all safety procedures, traffic laws, and jobsite requirements
• Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of truck and equipment
• Communicate with dispatch and customers regarding delivery timing and updates
