New World Van Lines is hiring nationwide with service centers coast to coast. We are seeking skilled and reliable CDL Class C Truck Driver to join our team and transport household goods between destinations.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of driving experience and a clean safety record. We offer industry-leading pay, paid weekly, per diem & paid hotels, sign-on bonuses based on position, and a modern fleet.

Formación

• Minimum 1 year of driving experience with a clean safety record.
• Must pass DOT physical and hold valid DOT medical card.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Familiarity with state and federal regulations governing transportation industry.

Responsabilidades

• Operate and maintain a Class B commercial vehicle in compliance with all state and federal regulations, company policies, and safety standards.
• Operate the company vehicle while ensuring safety of the motoring public, self, and company equipment.
• Safely load, secure, and unload household goods and possessions onto the truck and in a customer’s home, ensuring proper handling and care.
• Plan and execute routes efficiently to ensure timely delivery while adhering to traffic laws and safety guidelines.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck and its equipment, reporting any issues to the appropriate department.
• Maintain accurate records of mileage, hours of service, and other required documentation, ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
• Ability to travel with an overnight stay.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and special requests in a courteous manner.
• Collaborate with dispatch and other team members to optimize route planning and overall efficiency.
• Adhere to company policies and safety protocols to prevent accidents and damage.
• Maintain a clean and organized truck cab and trailer, promoting a professional image.
