Job summary

New World Van Lines in Chicago, IL is seeking an experienced CDL Class C Truck Driver to join our nationwide team. You will transport household goods with a focus on safety, efficiency, and customer service. One year of driving experience and a clean safety record are preferred.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid Driver's License for one year with a clean driving record.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and compliance.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic computer skills for electronic logs and communication.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain a Class B commercial motor vehicle in compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Safely load, secure, and unload household goods and possessions.
• Plan and execute routes efficiently to ensure timely delivery.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report issues.
• Maintain accurate mileage and hours of service records.
