Dunn Construction Company is hiring a CDL Class B Dump Truck Operator in Birmingham, AL. You will operate a dump truck, transport materials and dump loads as required. Position Title:

CDL Class B Dump Truck Operator

Position summary:

Must have CDL Class B. Clean MVR. Drives / operatestruck equipped with dump body to transport and dump loose materials , such as sand, gravel, crushed rock, or asphalt. Ability to maneuver truck and properly back... Performs any and all other duties as necessary but not otherwise specified.

Tasks:

• Record operating data such as products and quantities, gauge readings, and operating times, manually or using computers.
• Maintain proper maintenance of truck and distribute including tire pressure, fluid levels, etc.
• Communicate using 2-way radios and verbal communication
• Must be able to work nights, overtime,and weekends
• Ability to drive a manual transmission
• Other duties as assigned, not otherwise specified
• Skills:
• Operation Monitoring - Watching gauges, dials, or other indicators to make sure a machine is working properly.
• Operation and Control - Controlling operations of equipment or systems.
• Reading Comprehension - Understanding written sentences and paragraphs in work related documents.
• Must be able to read maps and navigate around central Alabama.
• Troubleshooting - Determining causes of operating errors and deciding what to do about it.
