Job summary

Safety-Kleen in Fargo, ND is seeking a Sales and Service Route Driver Trainee (Driver Class B Trainee). This role trains to drive a Class B box truck to service parts washer machines, collect waste, and sell products on a defined route. Safety-Kleen will pay for you to obtain your CDL.

Must be available to work 1 overnight per week. Schedule is Monday–Friday. Company offers competitive hourly pay, benefits after 30 days, and growth opportunities within Clean Harbors family.

Qualifications

• Class B CDL required
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsement within 90 days of employment
• Basic computer and math skills
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Strong customer service skills
• Perform physical functions per job requirements
• Background check, drug test and medical exam as position requires
• Facial hair standards per 29 CFR 1910.134 Respiratory Protection

Responsibilities

• Visit 10–12 customer sites per day
• Switch out 15- & 30-gallon drums of solutions
• Service parts washer machines and clean out sediment
• Upsell at customer locations and generate new leads in the field
• Service automotive repair fleets and manufacturing businesses
• Complete daily scheduled services, deliveries, and pickups
• Follow all applicable regulations and safety guidelines
• Operate vehicles per DOT and local requirements
