Join our team as a Class B Hazmat Delivery Driver and play a crucial role in providing safe and efficient transportation of compressed gas cylinders, liquid cylinders, and hard goods to our valued customers. Your responsibilities will include maintaining outstanding customer relations, ensuring on-time deliveries, and upholding the highest standards of safety and professionalism. As a key member of our team, you'll be empowered to make a positive impact through your exceptional driving skills, problem-solving abilities, and dedication to customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities include:
  1. Safely operate a Class B Hazmat vehicle on scheduled routes, delivering and picking up compressed gas cylinders, liquid cylinders, and hard goods.
  2. Load and unload your vehicle, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all deliveries and pick-ups.
  3. Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner, resolving service inquiries and maintaining strong customer relations.
  4. Perform pre and post-trip vehicle inspections, addressing deficiencies and ensuring safety equipment is in optimal working condition.
  5. Collaborate as a team player to maintain a positive work environment, demonstrating a can-do attitude and a sense of urgency.
  6. Manage your delivery routes efficiently and adapt to changing circumstances, demonstrating organizational skills and attention to detail.
  7. Maintain compliance with DOT and OSHA regulations, prioritizing safety at all times.
  8. Assist with tasks such as maintaining inventory, performing counter sales, and participating in cylinder inspections.
Qualifications:

Must have at least one year of CDL Class A or B driving experience with similar equipment or graduated from an accredited truck driving school.

Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and manuals; write routine reports; speak effectively before groups.

Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division; ability to calculate percentages.

Ability to solve practical problems and interpret instructions in various formats.

Work Environment:

Exposed to outside weather conditions regularly.
