CDL Class B Ready Mix Truck Driver - County Materials (Transportation)

We are seeking a Ready Mix Driver for our customer, County Materials located in Ocala, FL.

About the Position:

Competitive hourly pay. Home every night.

Job Duties:
  1. Demonstrate customer service while interfacing with clients.
  2. Perform daily preventative maintenance.
  3. Use water hoses to clean mixer between loads.
  4. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
  5. Visually inspect the consistency of concrete in mixer.
  6. Ensure all delivery tickets are signed and returned to the plant.
  7. Exercise good judgement regarding work site access, unloading, and operation.
  8. Maintain customer relations by acting in a professional, courteous manner.
Work Environment:

Working in outdoor weather conditions. Work near moving machinery and equipment. Work alongside moving traffic on roads.

Physical Requirements:
  1. Lift objects of various dimensions and weights up to 50-100 lbs.
  2. Ability to climb stairs and ladders, reach, squat, push, and pull objects.
  3. Frequent sitting.
  4. Carrying/lifting to 100 pounds.
  5. Standing/walking/climbing.
  6. Squatting/crouching/kneeling/bending.
  7. Pushing/pulling/reaching above shoulder.
Experience & Qualifications:
  1. Must possess a Class B or A CDL license with air brake endorsement.
  2. Maintain an active DOT qualification.
  3. Minimum 2 years prior driving experience required; will train drivers in Ready-Mix procedures.
  4. Ability to perform well in a "Team" environment.
  5. Self-motivator and must be flexible to accommodate the client's needs.
