CDL Class B Ready Mix Driver - County Ready Mix (Transportation)

We are seeking a Ready Mix Driver for our customer, County Ready Mix in Hazelhurst, WI. Military service members and veterans are encouraged to apply.

About the position:
  • This position is subject to layoff depending on weather conditions.
  • Deliver ready mix concrete to worksites daily.
  • Competitive hourly pay and benefits.
  • Home every night.
  • Training for Concrete Mixer Truck available.
Job Duties:
  • Provide excellent customer service while interfacing with clients.
  • Perform daily preventative maintenance.
  • Use water hoses to clean the mixer between loads.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
  • Visually inspect the consistency of concrete in the mixer.
  • Ensure all delivery tickets are signed and returned to the plant.
  • Exercise good judgment regarding work site access, unloading, and operation.
  • Maintain professional and courteous customer relations.
Work Environment:
  • Work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Operate near moving machinery and equipment.
  • Work alongside moving traffic on roads.
Physical Requirements:
  • Lift objects weighing up to 50-100 lbs.
  • Climb stairs and ladders, reach, squat, push, and pull objects.
  • Frequent sitting, standing, walking, and climbing.
  • Carry/lift up to 100 pounds.
  • Perform bending, kneeling, crouching, and reaching above shoulder level.
Experience & Qualifications:
  • Valid Class A or B CDL with a satisfactory driving record.
  • Active DOT qualification.
  • Minimum 2 years of prior driving experience required.
  • Previous experience driving Concrete Mixer Truck desired; training available.
  • Experience operating Front End Loader is a plus.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Self-motivated and flexible to meet client needs.
