We are seeking a Ready Mix Driver for our customer, County Ready Mix in Antigo, WI.

About the position:


  • This position is subject to layoff, depending on weather.
  • Deliver ready mix concrete to worksites daily.
  • Competitive hourly pay and benefits.
  • Home every night.
  • Training for Concrete Mixer Truck available.


Job Duties:


  • Demonstrate customer service while interfacing with clients.
  • Perform daily preventative maintenance.
  • Use water hoses to clean mixer between loads.
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
  • Visually inspect the consistency of concrete in mixer.
  • Ensure all delivery tickets are signed and returned to the plant.
  • Exercise good judgement regarding work site access, unloading and operation.
  • Maintain customer relations by acting in a professional, courteous manner.


Work Environment:


  • Working in outdoor weather conditions.
  • Work near moving machinery and equipment.
  • Work alongside moving traffic on roads.


Physical Requirements:


  • Lift objects of various dimensions and weights up to 50-100 lbs.
  • Ability to climb stairs and ladders, reach squat, push, and pull objects.
  • Frequent Sitting.
  • Carrying/Lifting to 100 pounds.
  • Standing / Walking / Climbing.
  • Squatting/Crouching/Kneeling/Bending.
  • Pushing / Pulling / Reaching Above Shoulder.


Experience & Qualifications:


  • Must have a valid Class A or B CDL and satisfactory driving record.
  • Maintain an active DOT qualification.
  • Minimum 2 years prior driving experience required.
  • Previous experience driving Concrete Mixer Truck desired; will train.
  • Experience operating Front End Loader a plus.
  • Ability to perform well in a "Team" environment.
  • Self-motivator and must be flexible to accommodate the client's needs.
