Job summary

Cliff Berry, Inc. is seeking a CDL Class B Driver to join our growing logistics team in Florida. The ideal candidate holds a Class B CDL, HazMat endorsement, and at least 1 year of driving experience; TWIC must be obtained within 60 days. Night, weekend, and holiday on-call duties are possible.

Qualifications

• CDL B license with HazMat endorsement required.
• At least 1 year of driving experience.
• TWIC card must be obtained within 60 days of hire.
• On-call nights, weekends and holidays may be required while on-call or in an emergency.
• Class B CDL required; HazMat preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive trucks with capacities greater than 10 tons to transport and deliver oil and/or gas.
• Pick up waste oil at customer locations.
• Maintain logs of hours worked and vehicle service status.
• Inspect truck for mechanical and safety issues before and after trips.
• Read bills of lading to determine assignment details and keep records up to date.
• Respond to defects, accidents, or damage reports as necessary.
• Perform basic vehicle maintenance tasks and routine checks.
• Maintain compliance with DOT drug and alcohol screens.
