Job summary

Milestone Technologies is hiring a Commercial Service Driver L1 in Redmond, WA to safely transport client inventory and goods on an on-site basis. The role requires a valid Class B CDL, 21+ years old, and compliance with FMCSA/DOT regulations, including medical qualification and drug/alcohol testing.

You will perform pre/post-trip inspections, maintain records, and help with route planning in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Valid Class B CDL required and legally valid for interstate operation.
• At least 21 years of age when interstate operation is requested.
• Meet DOT/FMCSA drug and alcohol testing requirements and Clearinghouse rules.
• Current medical qualification meeting DOT/FMCSA requirements.
• No CDL restriction preventing lawful operation of assigned equipment.
• Endorsements, if any, must be maintained per vehicle and cargo.
• Demonstrated ability to safely couple and uncouple tractor/trailer.
• Knowledge of cargo securement, inspections, hours-of-service, and ELD procedures.
• Willingness to comply with safety requirements and avoid fatigued operation.
• Proficient with computer/tablet devices for required apps.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate assigned commercial motor vehicles within class, endorsements and restrictions.
• Collect inventory and verify client shipping and transfer documentation.
• Inspect, load, and secure cargo per procedures and capacity limits.
• Support daily route planning considering traffic, weather, and client windows.
• Use GPS and transport tech to complete routes safely and efficiently.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report defects promptly.
• Maintain duty status records using ELD or equivalent system.
• Assist preventive maintenance scheduling and notify management of needs.
• Adapt to changing conditions and maintain safety and compliance.
• Communicate route status, delays, incidents and delivery exceptions clearly.
