Charlie’s Produce is seeking a Class B CDL driver to deliver fresh produce across the Portland metro area in Oregon. The role centers on safe, accurate deliveries with focus on customer service and on-time performance.

Qualifications

• Be 23 yrs. or older due to insurance requirements.
• 1+ year of driving experience highly preferred
• Valid Class B CDL and medical card Interstate qualification, registered
• Demonstrated ability to lift/push/pull 50+ lbs. throughout shift
• Per DOT rules, the applicant should have the ability to read and understand English; Satisfactory driving record

Responsibilities

• Accurately check invoices as you make deliveries
• Load and unload product from trailer with electric pallet jack
• Attention to detail in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment
• Perform superior customer service as you interact with customers at each delivery
• Assist in issuing credit memos and collecting payment for COD customers
• Promote and maintain a flexible, cooperative, team-oriented, and customer-focused attitude with colleagues
• Professionally maintained, reliable and safe equipment
• Palletized product is delivered to a dock or with a lift gate
• All other duties as requested or assigned
