Job summary

DFA Milk in Amarillo, TX is seeking a Class B Delivery Driver to operate a commercial motor vehicle in compliance with DOT and DFA policies, delivering pre-ordered and unscheduled products to customers such as schools, grocery stores, and nursing homes.

You will follow routes, load/unload, maintain vehicle, complete daily paperwork, and ensure proper inventory levels. Must have CDL B with Air Brake, up to 2 years driving experience, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Up to 2 years of experience driving a straight truck or pup truck.
• Valid CDL Class B with Air Brake endorsement.

Responsibilities

• Operate a commercial motor vehicle in compliance with DOT and DFA rules, regulations and policies.
• Deliver pre-ordered or unscheduled products to customers (schools, grocery stores, nursing homes, etc.) according to route schedule and customer delivery expectations.
• Follow designated routes and schedules and report delays to management due to road conditions, accidents or breakdowns.
• Load and unload product at designated stops and assist with stocking or rotating as needed.
• Collect empty cases and provide merchandising support per customer requirements.
