Job summary

Ferguson Enterprises, LLC in Maryland is seeking a delivery driver responsible for delivering materials, loading/unloading, and ensuring delivery tickets with material are complete. This role supports loading assistance and customer service on delivery routes.

Qualifications include a valid CDL, at least 21, ability to pass DOT, DOT Medical Card, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs. You should have warehouse/logistics background and be comfortable using iPads.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL license.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Meet and maintain qualifications for CDL requirements.
• Follow all DOT standards and regulations.
• Possession of a DOT Medical Card or ability to acquire one.
• Ability to lift items up to 50lbs.
• Background in warehouse operations and logistics a plus.
• Strong communicator with a customer-focused approach.
• Able to navigate and operate basic technology, including iPads.

Responsibilities

• Deliver materials to the customer, including loading/unloading and ensuring delivery ticket with material.
• Pick up customer returns, validating product match for credit requests.
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections, fuel the truck as needed, and report issues to supervisor.
• Follow and implement all company safety policies and procedures.
• Assist warehouse personnel with pulling/preparing orders for shipment, receiving, verifying, staging and stocking material.
• Overtime as needed; adhere to safety regulations and PPE.
