About the role

SIGN-ON BONUS - $5,000 (1/3 after 1 month, 1/3 after 6 months, 1/3 after 1 year)

Position Description:

The CDL Class B Driver will operate a truck with a liquid capacity of over 5,000 gallons to transport materials to and from designated destinations. Secondary duties include operating semi-roll off and van body equipment. Drivers may operate equipment such as vacuum tankers, trucks, vans, and flatbeds.

Responsibilities:

• Drive trucks and operate specialized pump equipment to load, unload, or disperse cargo or materials.
• Prepare delivery tickets specific to the product and obtain customer signatures.
• Complete accurate electronic driver logs daily.
• Document the materials and products transported.
• Maintain records like vehicle logs, cargo records, and shipping manifests according to regulations.
• Communicate with dispatch regarding delivery instructions.
• Interpret maps and follow geographic directions.
• Inspect truck equipment, including tires, lights, brakes, and fluids.
• Secure cargo during transit.
• Ensure all operating equipment is maintained to high standards.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be 21+ years old for interstate travel and comply with federal regulations.
• Valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License.
• Tanker endorsement required; HAZMAT preferred but not mandatory.
• At least 2 years of driving experience.
• No disqualifications per FMCSA regulations.
• Adherence to DOT regulations.
• Ability to read and interpret safety and operational documents.
• Responsible, organized, and safety-conscious.

Hourly pay ranges from $25.00 to $27.00, based on experience and other factors.
