Position Overview

As a CDL B Driver, you will deliver customer orders using vehicles over 26,000 lb. GVW, adhering to safety, customer service, and operational standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist with loading delivery vehicles.
• Deliver orders safely and courteously.
• Operate delivery equipment, including truck-mounted forklift.
• Complete delivery documentation accurately.
• Report vehicle issues or unsafe conditions.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the yard and delivery fleet.
• Ensure proper placement of materials at the jobsite.
• Follow safety protocols for vehicle operation and material handling.
• Report accidents, injuries, or damages immediately.

Qualifications

• Active CDL, Class B with air brake endorsement.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations.
• Ability to perform basic math related to delivery tasks.
• Knowledge of lumber and building materials is preferred.
• 2-4 years of delivery and customer service experience preferred.
• Forklift certification ability.
• Demonstrated customer service skills.

Physical & Work Environment

• Regularly talk and hear; vision includes close and night vision.
• Work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Lift and carry items over 100 pounds.
• Operate heavy equipment and manual transmission vehicles.
