Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid Class B CDL.
• 3–4 years as a Class B CDL truck driver preferred.
• A few months to one year as a warehouse worker.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products to customer locations in a timely manner
• Secures cargo for transport using ropes, blocks, chain, binders, or covers
• Loads and unloads trucks using loading-related equipment and other necessary tasks
• Checks load-related documentation to ensure that it is complete and accurate
• Inventories and inspects goods to determine quantities and conditions
• Obtains receipts or signatures for delivered goods and collect payment when required
• Checks vehicles to ensure that mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment is in good working order
• Performs basic vehicle maintenance tasks, such as adding oil, fuel, or radiator fluid or performing minor repairs
• Reads and interprets maps to determine vehicle routes

This person will make deliveries and pick-ups utilizing a Ford F750 flatbed, Freightliner M2 flatbed, or standard pick-up truck.

General Accountabilities (Class B CDL Driver)
