Job summary

AKHIRE is hiring a CDL Class B Delivery Driver/Warehouse Associate in Fairbanks, AK. This full-time role runs Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and pays $27–$30 per hour.

You will deliver products on assigned routes, load and unload, maintain paperwork, perform pre/post trip vehicle checks, and assist in the warehouse as needed. CDL class B or higher and DOT/compliance requirements apply; hazardous materials experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Class B CDL or higher required.
• Drug screening and background check required.
• Must meet DOT requirements for commercial driving.
• Must be able to perform physically demanding work including lifting and loading.

Responsibilities

• Delivery of products on assigned routes.
• Loading and unloading.
• Verify correct products loaded and delivered to customers.
• Maintain delivery paperwork and records.
• Perform routine vehicle checks before and after driving.
• Communicate professionally with customers during deliveries and pickups.

Key Responsibilities for CDL Class "B" Delivery Driver/Warehouse Associate

Delivery of products on assigned routes

Loading and Unloading.

Confirm that the correct products are loaded and delivered to the appropriate customer locations.

Maintain delivery paperwork and other records associated with assigned routes.

Complete routine vehicle checks before and after driving and communicate any equipment or vehicle concerns.

Communicate professionally with customers during deliveries and pickups.

Assist in the warehouse when delivery responsibilities are completed or additional operational support is needed.

Receive incoming freight and assist with unloading shipments arriving by semi-truck.

Check incoming products and freight against receiving information and report discrepancies when identified.

Move and organize freight, cylinders, and other materials within designated warehouse and loading areas.

Keep the delivery vehicle and work areas organized and ready for daily operations.

Assist the team with additional delivery, warehouse, and material-handling responsibilities as needed.

Commercial driving experience preferred.

Experience transporting hazardous materials is strongly preferred.
