Job summary

Tropic Supply, Inc. in Tampa, FL is seeking a CDL Class B Delivery Driver for local routes, with home every night. You will transport HVAC and refrigeration supplies to contractors, maintain accurate delivery documentation, and perform routine vehicle inspections.

On slower days you’ll help in the warehouse with loading/unloading and basic forklift tasks. A Hazmat endorsement and a valid CDL Class B are required, along with a DOT medical card and FMCSA Clearinghouse enrollment.

Qualifications

• Must have valid CDL Class B with Hazmat endorsement.
• DOT medical certificate and FMCSA Clearinghouse enrollment.
• Minimum 1 year CDL driving in last 3 years (or 2 in last 5).
• Able to lift up to 75 lbs and operate forklift.
• Strong English reading/writing for safety and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Operate local Tropic Supply vehicles delivering HVAC and refrigeration supplies.
• Perform pre-trip/post-trip inspections and maintain delivery documentation.
• Load/unload cargo and assist in warehouse on non-driving days with equipment.

You know your customers by name, you know your routes, and you are home every night. This is a role built on consistency, reliability, and showing up the same way every single day, for the company, for the customer, and for yourself.On days when your route is complete or volume is lighter, you will contribute in the warehouse. That is not the core of this job, but it is part of it, and we want to be upfront about that. Loading and unloading cargo is part of this role, not an occasional taskAbility to lift up to 75 lbs consistently and sustain physical activity throughout a full shiftComfort contributing in a warehouse and distribution environment on non-driving daysStrong attention to detail with a track record of delivery and documentation accuracyPhysical RequirementsThis role combines active driving with hands-on warehouse and delivery work.
