Job summary

Kids 'R' Kids of West Frisco is seeking a personable, experienced bus driver to transport children on a scheduled route. The role requires a current Class B CDL with a passenger endorsement and prior bus driving experience is preferred.

Responsibilities include daily pre-trip inspections, maintaining fuel, reporting behaviour issues, documenting attendance, ensuring safety belts, and walking the bus after routes. This position suits someone seeking a few hours weekly with rewarding work.

Qualifications

• Must have a current Class B CDL with a passenger endorsement.
• Prior experience driving a bus is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform a pre-trip inspection of the bus each day to ensure it is in good working order
• Ensure the bus has at least a half tank of gas at all times
• Report any behavior issues on the bus to Directors
• Follow a planned bus route to drop off and pick up children in a timely manner
• Properly document attendance for children as they board and get off the bus
• Ensure children are seated properly and using seat belts correctly
• Follow all road rules in accordance to the Dept. of Public Safety
• Walk the bus at the end of each route to ensure no child is left behind
• Maintain bus cleanliness
• Report any maintenance issues to Directors
