Job summary

Penske Logistics is hiring full-time Class A Yard Drivers at our Marion, OH location. You will drive late-model Penske trucks, with safety features and in-cab cameras, moving trailers and performing yard duties. Expect a 2:00pm start, Monday–Friday, home daily, with comprehensive benefits and a shift differential.

Penske emphasizes safety, training, and reliability across locations nationwide. Eligible candidates must have a valid Class A CDL, a current DOT medical card, and meet experience

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL required. Applicants must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence.
• Non-excepted interstate DOT medical card required.
• 1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years, or 2 years of documented tractor-trailer experience in the past 5 years.
• 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents.
• Follow all federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines.
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job.
• In order to be compliant with federal law (49 C.F.R. 391.11(b)(2)), this role requires English language proficiency.
• Work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Move trailers in and out of dock as directed by management.
• Couple and uncouple trailers.
• Chocking trailers as they are spotted for loading and unloading and pulling from doors.
