Job summary

Clean Harbors in Jeffersonville, OH is seeking a Class A Yard Driver to operate a variety of heavy and light duty trucks and equipment at our customer sites. This role performs driving and non-driving duties on and off customer sites related to hazardous waste clean-up.

You will join a safety-focused team, loading/unloading, maintaining logs, and complying with DOT and company policies. Valid CDL is required; Hazmat and Tanker endorsements are preferred within 90 days; training and benefits are

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL.
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsements within 90 days of employment.
• Ability to use mobile devices as part of daily tasks.
• Must meet physical requirements for job duties.
• Able to pass background check and drug test.
• Comply with OSHA respirator standards and safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Operate Class A trucks and assist field laborers when needed.
• Load and unload trucks and perform manual site work.
• Keep daily logs and time sheets in compliance with DOT rules.
• Ensure vehicle placarding meets company and DOT requirements.
• Follow local, state, and federal regulations for hazardous waste work.
• Be on-call for emergencies on a rotating basis.
• Assist with site remediation and hazardous materials handling as required.
