Job summary

Ecology Auto Parts, Inc. is seeking a qualified Class A Driver to join our Transportation team in California. The Walking Floor Driver will ensure safe and efficient transport of materials using Walking Floor trailers, adhering to CDL requirements and environmental standards.

This full-time role reports to the Operations Manager and requires a strong commitment to safety, on-time deliveries, and compliance with transportation regulations. Work hours are early shifts Mon-Fri with Saturday options.

Qualifications

• Requires Class A CDL with endorsements preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of verifiable Class A driving experience.
• Strong knowledge of transportation regulations and safety protocols.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds as needed.
• Excellent communication and reliability for timely deliveries.
• Familiarity with DOT regulations and logbook requirements.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate Walking Floor Trailers to transport materials to designated locations.
• Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies for safe transportation.
• Inspect and maintain Walking Floor Trailers; report issues promptly.
• Load and unload materials securely and efficiently following procedures.
• Complete paperwork accurately and on time (logbooks, receipts).
• Communicate with dispatch, team members, and clients to ensure smooth operations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections for safety compliance.
• Follow established routes and schedules, adjusting as needed.
• Ensure proper disposal of materials per environmental guidelines.
