Job summary

Ryder is hiring a Class A CDL Truck Driver in Springfield, MO. The role offers weekly pay, comprehensive benefits after 30 days, PTO from day 1, and a 5-on/2-off schedule with a 7:00 pm–3:30 am start.

You will drive 300 miles radius daily, home daily, with day cab or sleeper tractors and 53' dry van trailers. Annual safety bonuses of up to $350 per quarter and a company-supported retirement plan are included, with 12-week maternity leave and 24/7 roadside support across 800 locations.

Qualifications

• Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle.
• 9 months experience within the past 3 years, OR 2 years within last 5 years, OR 5 years within last 10 years.
• Must pass Ryder drug test, background and motor vehicle checks, DOT physical and road test.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with federal/state laws and safety standards.
• Detect and minimize safety hazards and maintain logs/records.
• Load/unload freight or assist as required by customer.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
