Job Overview

Principal Objective: Under general direction, drives a tractor/trailer unit, delivering products to customers.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Drive truck or tractor/trailer unit according to schedule; report problems immediately.
  2. Maintain a valid CDL and comply with all relevant laws and regulations.
  3. Use Electronic Logging Device (ELD) for vehicle inspections and logs.
  4. Use company routing and communication apps to update delivery status and report issues.
  5. Support food safety, biosecurity, and other safety programs.
  6. Follow safe work practices, wear PPE, and keep work areas clean.
  7. Unload products as required, operate trucks efficiently, and report maintenance needs.
  8. Manage receipts and complete all required paperwork accurately.
  9. Perform backhauls and maintain a courteous attitude with all contacts.
  10. Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
  1. Adhere to company culture and perform essential functions with or without accommodations.
  2. High school diploma or equivalent; safe driving record and experience.
  3. Valid driver’s license; ability to read, write, speak English, and perform basic math.
  4. Ability to lift up to 70 lbs., move pallets, pass DOT physical and drug screens.
  5. Good communication skills and customer service orientation.
  6. Strong organizational and teamwork skills; flexibility and willingness to adapt.
