Job summary

ADUSA Distribution is seeking a CDL Class A Driver to safely deliver grocery and perishable products to stores and manage backhaul freight. You will operate tractor-trailers, perform pre-trip inspections, and maintain delivery paperwork in compliance with DOT regulations.

The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and professionalism while supporting efficient distribution across our network. This position requires at least 3 years of tractor-trailer experience and a valid CDL A license.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid CDL Class A license.
• Minimum of 3 years tractor-trailer experience.
• Strong working knowledge of DOT and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.
• Demonstrated safety practices and professional driving standards.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a tractor-trailer in accordance with company driving standards and DOT regulations.
• Assist with unloading deliveries at store locations as needed.
• Perform proper pre-trip inspections as required by DOT Regulation 392.7.
• Maintain accurate delivery, pickup, and DOT documentation at all times.
• Ensure proper count, condition, and verification of all loads, including backhauls, for-hire freight, and relay shipments.
• Verify equipment is in good working condition prior to operation.
• Suggest process improvements to enhance efficiency and safety in transportation and distribution.
