JOB SUMMARY:

The Truck Driver is responsible for ensuring that supplies and equipment are delivered in accordance with our safety and quality standards. Truck Drivers deliver locally.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Haul aggregate or concrete block materials.
  • Performs pre-trip inspections of the equipment and material.
  • Works with the maintenance team to ensure proper maintenance of the equipment and reports any issues early.
  • Deal with customers, co-workers, and management in a courteous and respectful manner.
  • Maintains constant awareness of safety, efficiency, and displays a flexible and out of the box thinking mindset with the capability to solve problems.
  • Comply with all State and Federal driving regulations.
  • Update and maintain daily driver logs.
  • Perform all other duties assigned.
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Valid Commercial Driver License (CDL) Class A or B.
  • Experience operating a Moffett/Princeton required.
  • Boom experience preferred but not required.
  • Proven safe driving record and DOT compliance.
  • Ability to drive for extended periods and work at the unloading site in varying weather conditions.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
  • Perform all work in accordance with YBP Safety policies.
  • The work is performed outdoors and/or indoors, enduring heat, cold, rain, dust, wind, and other elements.
  • Capable of operating various types of heavy equipment and/or machinery.
PHYSICAL CAPABILITIES:
  • Physical demands include but are not limited to walking, sitting, bending, stooping, and lifting up to 90 pounds.
