Job Duties:

• Safety and Compliance
• Complies with Driver responsibilities as outlined in company DAART program and as required by DOT
• Maintain vehicle in accordance with Elkhart Transportation management policy
• Operates vehicle in a safe and efficient manner complying with company policy and procedures, and applicable state and federal laws.
• Support on-time delivery by transporting loads by established route to proper destination as efficiently as possible while observing all traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Inspect trailer loads to ensure proper loading processes and that it is the correct load before leaving the facility.
• Verify product count while the truck is being loaded.
• Comply with obtaining correct acknowledgement or signature and date for bill of lading and necessary signatures and date; return properly completed documentation to Transportation Manager.

Skills/Qualifications:

• Welch Packaging pays hourly and we require a Class A CDL.
