Job summary

Ross Environmental Services, Inc. is seeking a safety-focused truck driver to operate over-the-road tankers and vans, delivering waste materials and general freight. You will perform pre-trip inspections, maintain DOT logs, secure cargo, and read shipping documents.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of current over-the-road tanker experience.
• Valid Class A CDL with Hazmat endorsement.
• FMCSA driving history compliant.
• Ability to qualify for a DOT physical card and DOT substance-abuse testing.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to work 14-hour shifts, including weekends as needed.
• Ability to travel overnight.
• Ability to safely use PPE and read safety documents.

Responsibilities

• Transport and deliver waste materials and general freight.
• Complete pre-trip and required vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs.
• Maintain accurate DOT hours-of-service logs and load documentation.

• Read and interpret bills of lading, manifests, and other shipping documents.

• Report accidents, vehicle defects, traffic violations, or damage according to company policy.
• Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the truck, equipment, and PPE.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of current over-the-road tanker experience, including liquid tanker experience.
• Valid Class A CDL with Hazmat endorsement.
• Compliant Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) driving history.
• Ability to qualify for a DOT physical card and comply with DOT substance-abuse testing requirements.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to work 14-hour shifts, including additional hours and weekends as needed.
• Ability to travel overnight.
• Ability to safely use required PPE, including respiratory and chemical protective equipment.
• Ability to read and understand safety procedures, operating instructions, and related documentation.
