Job summary

Chemical Strategies, Inc. in Chandler, AZ is seeking a Class A driver with HazMat endorsement for long-haul and local chemical deliveries. The role requires 2+ years of experience, strong customer service, and the ability to lift heavy loads.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Long haul and local deliveries of chemical-related products, including HazMat and other industry products.
• Occasional special deliveries.
• Operate forklifts and load/unload delivery trucks.
• Lift more than 75 lbs and maintain safety at all times.
• Interface with customers and provide excellent service.
• Record B/L and delivery information daily.
• Inspect B/L forms, quantities, item numbers, labels and shipping data.
• Collect or pick up empty containers or unsold merchandise with authorization.
• Verify daily B/Ls and documentation before loading.
• Assist with loading/unloading as needed.
• Stock shelves or racks as required.
• Obtain customer signatures on receipts for pickups/deliveries.
• Offload at customer sites as needed and place items appropriately.
• Relay service feedback to management.
• Clean truck interior and exterior; report maintenance needs.
• Maintain daily DOT logs and trip sheets.
• Receive product/docs in ERP system.
• Coordinate with VP of Operations, SCM, and EHSR Manager for routine truck maintenance.
• Assist with other tasks as directed by management.
• Other duties may be assigned.

Driver – Class A with HazMat License (Distribution Specialist) – UP TO 25% LONG-HAUL

Candidate MUST be certified Class A Driver with HAZMAT endorsement and 2+ years experience. We are looking for long‑term employees to drive for us.

Compensation: Annual salary $65‑$80k DOE.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Long haul and local deliveries of chemical‑related products, including HazMat and other industry products using various sized delivery vehicles ranging from tractor‑trailer to box trucks.
• Occasional special deliveries.
• Experience using forklifts.
• Ability to lift more than 75 lbs.
• Interface directly with customers and maintain excellent customer service skills.
• Load and unload delivery truck.
• Record B/L and delivery information on daily delivery records.
• Inspect B/L forms and check quantities, item numbers, labels, and shipping information.
• Collect or pick up empty containers or rejected or unsold merchandise with authorization.
• Select items on daily B/Ls and inspect documentation for accuracy prior to loading on the truck for delivery.
• Possibly assist with load and unload of delivery truck.
• Place stock on shelves or racks.
• Issue or obtain customer signature on receipt for pickup or delivery.
• May offload product at customer site and place in assigned area.
• Listen to and pass along service complaints and compliments to the proper management.
• Cleans inside and outside of the truck. Notify supervisor of any maintenance issues.
• Keep daily DOT driver logs and trip sheets.
• Receive product and documentation in ERP system.
• Coordinate with VP of Operations, Supply Chain Manager, and EHSR Manager to ensure routine maintenance of truck.
• Assist with other tasks as directed by management.
• Other duties may be assigned.

MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING:

• Certified Class A Driver with a HazMat Endorsement.
• 2+ years of experience.

Background check and drug test required as a condition of employment.

Must possess a valid medical card.

Must be fluent in English, both written and verbal.

Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.

Warehouse located Casa Grande/Phoenix areas. Mon‑thru‑Fri schedule. UP TO 25% LONG‑HAUL.
