Herr Foods Inc. seeks a qualified Tractor Trailer Driver for the Nottingham, PA area. Schedule is Monday–Friday, with hours typically between 2 PM and 2 AM.

This full-time role includes benefits, a 401(k) match, paid time off, and an eligible retention bonus up to $250. You must have a Class A CDL and pass background and drug screening, with physical requirements to perform the job. Responsibilities include safe driving, pre/post inspections, trailer hookups, ERP data entry, and inventory

Qualifications

• Class A CDL license required.
• Ability to work in wet and/or humid conditions; extreme cold, and extreme heat.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts; high, precarious places, and fumes or airborne particles.
• Must be able to perform basic arithmetic for unit conversion.

Responsibilities

• Drives truck to destinations including branch and distributor locations.
• Observes safety rules and speed guidelines; idle time and following distance monitored.
• Hooking and un-hooking from trailers.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report conditions via Samsara tablet.
• Maintain driver logs and state-to-state mileage per regulations.
• Unload trailers and handle product accurately.
• Operate onboard computer to produce logs and information.
• Update ERP records with production and material data.
• Track inventory levels and coordinate replenishment.
• Follow safety guidelines and adhere to ERP procedures.
